Global Paid Social Campaign — Controller Feature Launch

SCUF Instinct's Instant Bumpers

Player Feedback. Built into SCUF.

The Challenge

The SCUF Instinct controller was built around customer feedback, and that same feedback loop drove its new customization option — Instant Bumpers. I was tasked with announcing the update through paid social, built around the benefit line "Milliseconds Matter" and the headline "Ready, Set, Click."

My Role

  • Art Direction

  • 3D Artist Direction

  • Graphic Design

Scope

Paid Social Campaign Design — 3 designs, 3 formats, 4 languages.

I decided on the look and feel, choosing graphic elements like a grid and diagonal lines inspired by game-development code, and directed our 3D artist to create three distinct angles of the controller, all showcasing the bumpers as the main feature.

The design came to life through the typographical configurations, the graphic elements, and the photo editing — augmenting the three-dimensional space beyond what the rendering itself had.

I reviewed the work with my then Sr. Design Manager, Greg Chandler, and strengthened it when he recommended I use 3D HUD graphics inspired by video game UI instead of the flat "HUD" elements I originally had — lifting the spatial design even further.
